CITGO has underwritten a grant to the McNeese State University Foundation designated for the Ann Rosteet Center for Advancement of Quality Education in the Burton College of Education to establish the M-Power Lab. The lab will train aspiring educators with systematic and sustainable techniques to bring science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education to the classroom. As STEM initiatives continue to advance in K-12 education, the college is well positioned as a leader in training educators how to effectively integrate technology and interactive learning in all subject areas. On hand for the presentation are, from left, Dr. Wade Rousse, vice president for university advancement and dean of the college of business, Dr. Terri L. Simpson, director for the Ann Rosteet Center for the Advancement of Quality Education and assistant professor of education, and CITGO representatives Jerry Dunn, vice president and general manager of the Lake Charles Manufacturing Complex, and Missy Amidon, public affairs coordinator.
