Dean Day has been named a business consultant with the Louisiana Small Business Development Center at McNeese State University. He specializes in helping small business owners with startup, sales plans, financial projections and insurance compliance.
Day holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business management from Louisiana State University and is a 35-year career professional with a background in insurance, sales and consulting. Prior to joining the LSBDC, he owned and operated his own business as an insurance business coach and has owned five other businesses over the span of his career.
A native of Southwest Louisiana, he serves on various community boards and committees including the Lake Charles Downtown Development Authority, Calcasieu Boat Club, Boy Scouts of America, Home Builders Association and the Lake Charles Power Squadron.
