: The Children’s Clinic of SWLA has given $5,000 to the McNeese State University Foundation for the Dr. Patrick J. Unkel Scholarship. Unkel founded the Children’s Clinic along with Dr. Richard “Dick” Calhoun. The scholarship is designated for junior and senior pre-medicine students.
