McNeese Receives Donation for Department of Mathematics

Bane Cook, a 1957 mathematics graduate of McNeese State University, has donated $100,000 to the McNeese Foundation for the department of mathematics. Cook, who recently turned 96, is a World War II veteran, and after earning his degree at McNeese, he had a successful career as an engineer with CitCon Oil Corp. He also championed the credit union movement and worked for several years with City Service Credit Union.
