McNeese Receives Donation from Cal-Maine Foods

The Harold and Pearl Dripps School of Agricultural Sciences at McNeese State University has received a $1,345 grant from the USPOULTRY Foundation as part of its Industry Education Recruitment Funding program, which provides annual recruiting and retention funds to colleges and universities to attract students to their poultry programs. The McNeese grant was made possible by an endowed gift from Cal-Maine Foods Inc. On hand for the presentation are, from left: Dr. Chip LeMieux, school director; Ed Scott, director of corporate recruiting for Cal-Marine Foods; agricultural sciences instructor Devin Gandy; and agricultural sciences students Kealy Stelly, pre-veterinary and animal sciences senior from Carencro, and Shae Doucet, pre-veterinary medicine junior from Fannete, Texas, who will be attending the conference.
