McNeese Receives USPOULTRY Donation

The Harold and Pearl Dripps School of Agricultural Sciences at McNeese State University has received a $1,390 grant from the USPOULTRY Foundation as part of its Industry Education Recruitment Funding program, which provides annual recruiting and retention funds to colleges and universities to attract students to their poultry programs. One of the benefits of the grant is the ability to send agricultural sciences students to conferences where they can participate in interviews that lead to internships and/or full-time employment offers. 
On hand for the presentation are from left: Barbara Jenkins, executive director of the USPOULTRY Foundationagricultural sciences instructor Devin Gandy, Shae Doucet, animal science/pre-veterinary medicine senior from Beaumont, Texas, Emerald Fletcher, a natural resource conservation management senior from Lake Charles, and Dr. Chip LeMieux, director of the school and interim dean of the College of Science and Agriculture.
