9/25/2019 McNeese State University Career Fair
 

The McNeese State University 2019 Fall Career and Internship Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25, in the Recreational Complex on campus. McNeese students of all majors and classifications, as well as alumni, can participate.

9/25/2019 McNeese Theatre Season Opens
 

The McNeese State University 2019 theatre season will open with the fall production of Robert and Willie Reale’s musical "A Year with Frog and Toad” Sept. 25-28 at 7:30 p.m. and Sept. 29 at 2 p.m. in Tritico Theatre.

9/10/2019 2019 McNeese Homecoming Parade Applications Now Online
 Registration for the 2019 McNeese State University Homecoming Parade is now open online for community entries at www.mcneese.edu/homecoming. The fee is $50 per unit.
9/10/2019 McNeese Professors Co-Chair Lake Charles Event
 

The Out of the Darkness Walk will be held Sept. 21 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Lake Charles Civic Center, and includes registration, a brief ceremony and the walk. This free event benefits the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP).

Dr. Jay Sconyers has been named director of bands at McNeese State University, according to Dr. Lonny Benoit, head of the W.A. and Dorothy Hanna Department of Performing Arts.

8/6/2019 STEM Academy Prepares Students for Success
 Over 750 elementary and middle school students attended McNeese State University’s 11-week summer STEM Academy where they completed hands-on activities including building model rockets and robot vehicles.
7/19/2019 McNeese Offers STEM Workshops for Louisiana Teachers
 

The College of Science, Engineering and Math at McNeese State University recently hosted over 40 middle and high school teachers from around the state of Louisiana to introduce engaging ways to incorporate computer science education into their classrooms.

7/19/2019 Pride of McNeese Band Members Selected for Elite Drum Corps International
 

Eight members of the McNeese State University Pride of McNeese Marching Band are participating this summer in the elite Drum Corps International (DCI), which consists of 47 corps from the United States, Canada and Europe.
