Sam Ivey Donates to McNeese Foundation

Former Lake Charles Chief of Police Sam Ivey has donated $100,000 to the McNeese State University Foundation in support of the McNeese Baseball program. Ivey graduated from McNeese in 1971 with a Bachelor of Science degree in health and human performance and in 1986 with a Master of Education degree in administration and supervision. He was also a member of the Cowboy Baseball team from 1967-69. The Cowboys Home Dugout has been named after Ivey in appreciation of his support. On hand for the presentation are, from left, Matt Fontenot, McNeese deputy athletics director/external affairs and development; Ivey; and Justin Hill, McNeese Baseball Head Coach.  McNeese Photo
