Westlake Chemical Supports Student Study Center at McNeese

Westlake Chemical has donated $15,000 to the College of Science, Engineering and Mathematics at McNeese State University through the McNeese Foundation to benefit the engineering student study center. Earlier this year, Westlake Chemical also donated over 2,500 cloth face masks totaling $9,000 to the college for students and faculty to remain safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. On hand for the presentation are, from left: Dr. Wade Rousse, vice president for university advancement and dean of the college of business; Wayne Ahrens, Westlake Chemical vice president, Operations Region 1; Curtis Brescher, Westlake Chemical plant manager; Dr. Tim Hall, college dean; and Joe Andrepont, Westlake Chemical principal, community and governmental affairs.
