The membership campaign for the 20th season of the Banners Cultural Series at McNeese State University is in full swing. Twenty events will take place between Feb. 26 and May 12, and will range from a Bollywood style of belly dancing to singing the blues. |

Kandalam, assistant professor of physics, have once again collaborated with research colleagues from Johns Hopkins University in Maryland to discover something new – lead sulfide (PbS) baby crystals. |

| | The Board of Supervisors for the University of Louisiana System named Robert Hebert President-Emeritus of McNeese State University. Hebert retired in June after serving 41 years at McNeese and 23 of them as president, making him the university's longest-serving president.
