8/20/2010 Property & Casualty Pre-Licensing Course Offered at McNeese
 

The Louisiana Consortium of Insurance and Financial Services at Louisiana State University in Shreveport will present a Property and Casualty Insurance Pre-Licensing Course from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Aug. 20-21 and Aug. 27-28 on the McNeese State University campus.

Late registration begins at 7:30 a.m. June 4 for all three summer sessions at McNeese State University. Students must be admitted to the university prior to registration and should see an adviser to get their alternate PIN, if required, prior to registration.

McNeese State University is one of the first universities in a national pilot program to award associate degrees to students who stopped attending classes for personal reasons but otherwise met university criteria for an associate degree under Project Win-Win, an initiative sponsored by the Education Trust, a national education policy organization, and the National Association of System Heads.

McNeese State University officially opened May 7 the $15.7 million addition to the Shearman Fine Arts Building to area media and invited guests who toured the state-of-the-art facility after a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
